Well-known paint breeder Gary Kilgore Passes away
FORT WORTH, TEXAS— Well-known Paint horse breeder Gary Kilgore of Maud, Okla., passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2009. He was partners with Linda Fox, together they bred and raised many top Paint racehorses including 4-time world champion Got Country Grip and his dam Got A Grip.
Together they bred 38 horses. These horses were highly sought after due to the breeding decisions made by Kilgore and Fox, which resulted in Fox being named Leading Breeder in 2006 and 2007. Some of their most successful horses include: champions Royal Grip, Tia Wanna, Eye Wanna Dance and Got Country Grip.
Memorial services are pending and will be announced once more information is available.
